Together for the new ID card: Dialog with consumers planned

OpenLimit SignCubes AG gets involved with the German association “Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V.“
With the OpenLimit SignCubes AG the association “Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V.” (DsiN) gains a further strong partner helping consumers and companies to become aware of a secure Internet and IT use. With its know-how OpenLimit will support DsiN for instance in its awareness work dealing with “secure identities” in the future.

In this context DsiN and its new member OpenLimit SignCubes AG are planning a dialog event with consumers to exchange first experiences with the new ID card and the corresponding software application AusweisApp. To DsiN the eID function of the ID card is a great chance to “move“ comfortably, data efficiently and more secure than ever before in the World Wide Web. DsiN wants to inform and educate citizens about this security advantage. Because only if there are many people using the new ID card with eID function, providers will offer corresponding applications. “Finally it is up to the consumers if the new ID card becomes a success. The dialog will help public online services and economy to gain important information for the conception of their own offers,” says Prof. Dieter Kempf, CEO of DsiN. “We want to survey consumer expectations and requirements immediately and hope for a lively exchange.”

“Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. is very interesting to us as it brings together active companies and oganizations,” explains Marc Gurov, CEO of OpenLimit. “Our software products bring “security to the Internet” for years. We want to support DsiN with our know-how and experience and with it contribute to more IT security in Germany.”
