OpenLimit presents at the largest ECM exhibition "d.forum"

Partnership between d.velop and OpenLimit intensified
Under the motto “simply well-built- architecture for your business processes” d.velop hosts this year’s d.forum from June 9th to 10th, 2010 in the landscape park Duisburg-North. Around 600 visitors are expected to come to the largest special event for document and enterprise content management. In addition to the current signature applications of the version 2.5, OpenLimit also presents other products supporting the new German identity card.

d.3 users can now also apply the renewal signature of OpenLimit
d.velop and OpenLimit are now forging their long-time partnership. The focus of this intensive cooperation is the integration of the latest signature components of OpenLimit into the Enterprise Content Management system d.3 of d.velop. Thus, users of d.3 will be able to electronically sign documents directly from the application. A special highlight of the combination of d.3 version 7 and the OpenLimit signature component is that users can now use the renewal signature, developed in accordance to the ArchiSafe protection profile of the Federal Office for Information Security. „We have integrated the signature and renewal signature components of OpenLimit in d.3 since we want to provide our clients with legally binding, media-resistant procedures and reliable archiving processes using the digital signature. Therefore, we rely on an internationally renowned and certified provider of signature software“, said Jürgen Prummer, Product Manager at d.velop. „Especially in the digitalization of paper files and the electronic billing process with subsequent archiving there is no getting away from the signature nowadays.“

Marc Gurov, CEO at OpenLimit, is very pleased about the constructive cooperation with d.velop: „From the close partnership we expect a long-term exchange of technical knowhow. Moreover, we hope for a significant enhancement of our market position in the field of eHealth, an industry in which d.velop has been strongly represented.“ Beside integration solutions of signature application components in d.3, d.velop also offers client signature software of OpenLimit for stand-alone computers or terminal servers in the future.

Links to the new identity card
In his presentation at the d.forum on June 10th, Mr. Gurov will introduce OpenLimit’s product portfolio and several success stories but also the current stage of development of the Bürgerclient, the application software for the new German identity card. „As provider of the Bürgerclient we look forward to discussing links to the Bürgerclient and the eID infrastructure around the new identity card with visitors of the d.forum“, said Gurov. The participation in the event is free of charge. For further information about the d.forum please see www.openlimit.com/d-forum.
