KDRS/RZRS and OpenLimit with strong distribution activities for eID technology solutions

Gaining new customers in eGovernment and eBusiness environment

The successful partnership between KDRS/RZRS Baden-Württemberg and OpenLimit continues. Now the WGV a.G. also relies on the highly secure eID service solution of KDRS/RZRS. The IT provider from Stuttgart is the first communal provider in Southern Germany for central eID services with the new ID-card. Within the context of cooperation between both partners OpenLimit provides an eID server which fulfills the highest requirements of security techniques and data protection law. „We are delighted that our trusting cooperation with OpenLimit has borne fruit and our eID solution has proved itself in the development and operation of extremely sophisticated, security-relevant IT infrastructures,“ said Frank Wondrak, CEO at KDRS/RZRS. „Our success encourages us to strengthen the important partnership with KDRS/RZRS and to push for chances of the new ID-card in the future,” added Dirk Arendt, Head of Corporate Communications at OpenLimit.

WGV a.G. integrates new ID-card
The Württembergische Gemeinde-Versicherung a.G. is an insurance company founded in 1921. In the year 2011 just over 800 consultants were in charge of more than 4 million insurance contracts. With the eID service of KDRS/RZRS the WGV a.G. offers its customers a secure registration process and access to the portal for private customers. In the portal customers can manage their personal data, view their contract portfolio and their mailbox as well as perform business processes directly online. The registration with the new ID-card is to be carried out online in just a few steps and replaces the registration with PIN letter.
