Siemens and OpenLimit Conclude Strategic Partnership
Siemens AG and OpenLimit SignCubes AG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OpenLimit Holding AG, will co-operate even more closely from now on. The basis for the collaboration is the newly signed partnership agreement. „We want to take our cooperation to a new level and offer comprehensive solutions to the market. We are convinced that we can offer a spectrum of innovative and sound solutions to our existing as well as to our new customers“, says Peer Dietrich, Chief Sales Officer of OpenLimit.
OpenLimit develops and distributes electronic identity and signature software. Siemens IT Solutions and Services is a supplier of comprehensive and industry specific IT-solutions and integrates these for customers. As an IT service provider, Siemens IT Solutions and Services integrates identity and signature software technologies, in particular in connection with smartcard-applications, in different projects for the public sector. The product portfolio of OpenLimit complements the portfolio of Siemens in the area of IT-security solutions optimally. The development and implementation of the "citizen client", an application software for on-line authentication with the new German eIdentity card, is the first mutual project within the scope of the partnership.
