Security with IT: OpenLimit becomes member of the cooperation network SeSamBB
Partners discuss solutions for electronic identities and secure networks
The OpenLimit SignCubes GmbH, specialist for electronic signature and identification solutions, became member of the cooperation network SeSamBB. Since 2006 the association stands for security and safety made in Berlin-Brandenburg. „I´m very pleased that OpenLimit, an international leading provider of security software has joined SeSamBB. OpenLimit presents the “Bürger-Client” at Open SeSam
On July 2nd, 2009 OpenLimit participates in the network for the first time. At the joint event „Open SeSam“ the cooperation partners will discuss basic approaches for intergral security concepts in the public administration. OpenLimit arranges the issues of „electronic identity“. The major topic will be the current developments relating to the electronic identity card and the “Bürger-Client”. Being a platform independent software on the user´s computer, the “Bürger-Client” enables the secure application of the electronic identity card on the internet and ensures a higher degree of data protection and data security in eBusiness and eGovernment services.
Science and economy benefit from each other
„The platform SeSamBB enables an effective and concerted cooperation in the field of IT security due to a network of numerous partners from science and economy,“ says Dirk Arendt, Vice President Business Development at OpenLimit. „For a small-scale business like ours the network is the ideal possibility to be informed about the latest trends in this sector and projects which are currently being planned.“ In the end, all parties benefit from the membership in a network that stretches far beyond the regional borders. Its activities however, focus on the reinforcement of the capital city as security location.
