Long-term storage and Bürger-Client are in the focus
OpenLimit in collaboration with Fujitsu at the CeBIT 2010
The most important market place of digital business, the CeBIT in Hanover, opens its doors from March 2nd to 6th, 2010. In collaboration with Fujitsu Technology Solutions OpenLimit demonstrates in hall 9 at the stand C60 how companies and public authorities can store files electronically and in an evidently secure manner. The joint solution ensures the inventory, the authenticity and integrity of the archived data for a hundred years and longer. The presentation focuses on both the future-oriented OpenLimit products MigSafe and OverSign.
The Bürger-Client of OpenLimit
The introduction of the electronic identity card on November 1st is the highlight of 2010 in the field of e-Government. The application software "Bürger-Client" takes on the communication between identity card and eID-Service for citizens. The software enables the card holder to access the ID via his computer and to authenticate himself over the internet. In the future, citizens can explicitly identify themselves on portals and platforms, during the online banking session or in e-Commerce. The Bürger-Client has been developed and implemented by Siemens, the Bundesdruckerei and OpenLimit. (Link zur PM) Live demos can convince interested visitors of the security and simplicity of purchases in online shops and of administrative procedures in the future.
